Any of you guys have first hand experience having a cracked alloy wheel repaired? Can you trust them after? My 17" rim has two cracks, around an inch long. Can't find a replacement, considering having it repaired...

I've had several rare wheels repaired, none have given me any issue but I chose the shops to do the work carefully b/c it can be a pain if it's not properly prepped and welded the first time. -
Perfectly safe, just make sure to bring them to a good welder so they don't throw it way off balance with tons of weld.Byron

I have had two wheels redone by Wheel Collision Center in PA. You could not tell them from new out of the box. Never had an issue with their great work.Comment
