Is 205/40/17 Ok or too small?

    Is 205/40/17 Ok or too small?

    I know it's slightly undersized compared to a 215/40/17. Is it about as undersized as 205/50/15, or worse?

    They're not bad, thats the size I run. I think they're just right

      205/40 fits ok on a 17x7. I have pics but not on an e30 so not sure how helpful it will be..

            I always went with the 215's. But thats just my personal pref. I never like going too far from the orig diam specs.

              I'm with you, I am the same. But the wheels I'm looking at have 205 40's on 'em...

                  Did you get them? Pics? Thats what came on mine, still running them. I would go for it. Do you have a lowered 30?
