Redrill w/ stud question

Getting the RS redrill next week and I have studs already on the car. I see a lot of people talk about running tuner lugs. Is there anyone running redrills with studs. I thought you can get away with using a hubcentric spacer. Anyone running redrill chime in for me?

My friend ran tuner lugs on his redrilled style 5's for his Honda EG hatch.
Now he's running studs.

I also had redrilled wheels and used regular extended lugs for my hubcentric spacers.
