Does anybody know if this rim will fit ? confused ..

Hey everybody , im trying to get these rims for my e30 .. i just got my car painted white so i think they would look pretty good . please no bashing this is just my style. I dont know the correct off-set for a 1989 bmw 325i , i dont want my rims/tires poking out .. i dont like that 'fatty' look at all ..at all.. i want them to be nice and flush on the car as if they were stocks or something , im sure you guys know what i mean .. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-8-...Q5fAccessories

does the rim width and off-set have to be low ? etc ? please post with advice for what size rims i should get to stay nice and tuck in my fenders thanks alot guys i know i should have maybe searched more but i tried :?

offset varies with width of the wheel.

Not sure what a good offset would be for these 16x8" wheels, but I know for a 15x7" wheel it's in the neighborhood of 20-24.

These wheels have a -0- offset, and the seller even says in the comments that they may stick out beyond the fenders on an E30. So, they won't be flush like you say you want.

I'd be worried about them being too wide- unless the offset is spot on you'll probably get some rubbing with 8" wide wheels.

Also note that the ad says they require "tuner" lugs which are not included, so add that to your budget.

I'd say pass, and find something that you know fits right. Once you buy wheels like this and have tires mounted on them, you usually cannot return them.

They will fit exactly the same as these, same size and offset. Tire size also matters.

that offset will look good in the rear and poke just a smidge in the front. You should see if they have that set in an et20 all around and push the rear out with spacer if you want it flush. front will be flush and you'll need to roll all your fenders. might need 1 or 2 degree camber up front depending on how low you are and what size tire you plan to run.

          one more from the back

If you don't significantly lower your car they will look silly.

so for my rims to stick in more , i should look for some 15 x 7 's ? with an offset of 20-24 ?

                  Dude, it's not magic.

You only have a certain amount of room for the wheel to go inside the wheel well before it hits stuff like struts/springs/trailing arms, etc. This is where correct offset becomes very important. You can fit an 8" wide wheel (see above replies). You can fit a 7" wide wheel, you could even fit a 5" wide wheel if you wanted to, but different offsets will make the wheel tucked under or stick out more or less, depending on the number.

But I know that a 15x7 wheel with 20-24 offset will be a perfect fit on most any E30 and will not stick out.

15x7 +13. So if it were a +20 the wheel would be inward another 7mm
