    e24 BBS RG 005s

So i just came across these e24 BBS RG 005s under a school bus at a local yard and picked them up for a decent price. said they were on an '86 635csi. all caps are there no cracks bends or anything, lips just need to be polished and cleared again. they are these:

    2nd down 16x7.5, et24 i think, gold centers

    edit: actual wheels

no clue what they're worth. trying to get an idea

    Thanks for any input

      This is just my opinion:

If you are trying to hauk these wheels to make some money, then it was a bit dumb to say that you found them under a school bus. The beautiful thing about searching the internet is that a possible buyer can find this thread, then use it as a bargaining agent to lower your asking price.

If you had wanted to make maximum profits, then you should have cleaned the wheels, polished the lip and the cap. Then take good pictures of the wheels and post your asking price.

5 minutes of searching past for sale threads, ebay, and the internet in general can give you an average price these wheels are selling for.

These may not be RG's. I had this issue when I was buying what were thought to be RG's.

The 5x120 16x7.5/8.5 BBS RZ's had the same shape as the RG005/006 unlike all the other RZ's

RG's only came with platinum color centers, not silver or gold.

If these are RG's, they will say "GESCHMEDET" (translates to forged I believe) and RG005 under the center cap. If they are RZ323's they will say something like KBA323 and weigh about 19lb instead of 16lb.

Note in the below catalog page, even though they switched the RZ and RA labels, the RZ at the top right looks like your wheels.

This is the platinum color that RG's came in
