    its finally time to ditch my wishy-washy POS non-grippy winter tires for some real rubber:



    forecasts are above freezing from here on out, so next weekend mounting will commence. think i'll get an entire summer worth of DD miles out of these tires?! :)

      Star Specs?

      We run them on our LeMons car. They're pretty damn grippy.

        I just picked mine up yesterday. 205 50 r16 Starspecs, should be good. Between them the GC coilovers and the new poly rear bushings the car should drive pretty minty this summer.

          yeah star specs. 215s to replace the 185 winters. actual % of tread increase ~40% as the winters have only 150mm of tread. like you said, ive heard they are grippy so i figured i'd give em a try. hoping to not break sway bar linkages with all the mechanical grip.
