    Help me figure out this new off set?

    I have a set of 15x7 BBS RS 070 ET16

    So if I can possibly do math

    25.4mm=1 inch

    so if i remove my .5 inch lip, i will have a 15x6.5 with ET28.7

    Now if i put on a 2 inch lip

    I get a 15x8.5 et -22.1?

    Is that right?

    And if so, Will that even fit(w/o major rolling and pulling)?

    Thanks,
    Das

    Easy to remember guide for RSs (assuming you only change the lip, and leave the barrel alone).

    Every .5" wider you go on the lip, corresponds to an increase of ~6.1mm in offset.

    So your 15x8.5" wheels would end up being approx ET -2. That's in stretch tires/flat roll land if you want to be low.
