Wheel paint finding the proper gold.

I'm refinishing a set of fittipaldi monolithics. I want to the centers gold like bbs gold.

I bought duplicolor bronze and all I gotta say is that's one ugly ass color and why the fuck is it metallic.

Does any one have any recommendations?

Wurth would be the first thing I would go to. They make great paint. But I've never used the gold.

Hoerr Racing Products serves the motorsports industry by providing parts & accessories including lubricants, brake systems, shocks & springs, driver & crew to customers worldwide.

A fast-drying paint that matches the standard allow wheel paint use by Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi and most other European OEMs. Wurth German Alloy Wheel Paint can be effectively used for spot repairs or full wheel restoration.

I got the paint from BBS for the last set of e50s I restored, not sure why you couldn't do the same. Make sure to specify the vintage gold as the newer gold has a brighter less metallic look than the vintage. The Wurth mentioned above is a dam near spot on match as well if your not equipped to spray.(I've used it for touchup before)
