    15x8 ET10, do I need spacers?

Okay, so I got some 15x8 ET10 wheels, do I need spacers?

I tried putting them on, but there's a noise when I do. Also, the front ones have some metal shavings on the pad, so I took them off and kept the rear ones. But the noise is still there. So I put basketweaves back on, and the noise is gone.

    Thanks!

    Tires are 205/50/15

EDIT: The noise sounds like if you spun a bicycle tire and held a zip tie so that the spokes hit it.

I wonder if the mounting thickness of your wheels is "thinner" than normal.

I've had that happen with my Work wheels. With stock lug bolts, they just barely protrude in and contact the e-brake stuff.

See if grinding a bit off the bolt, or a 2-3mm spacer fixes the noise with the wheels on. Spacer would only be needed on the rear, if that is problem.

It could be, I was actually wondering if that is possible.

I'm gonna try 8mm spacers and see if it fixes the noise. If it does, I'm just gonna run 2-3mm spacers, since it looks like that's all it needs.

But the front actually has metal shavings on the pad while the rear does not, so I'm guessing the wheel is rubbing on the pad. But the rear ones also make noise, so I guess I'm gonna need spacers all around?

My main question is, should 15x8 ET10 fit without spacers? All the research I've done says they should, but I just wanna confirm.
