    vibrations cured by blown tire?

so i bought my car and it had the steering wheel shakes at 2.5k rpm.
i thought it was bushings or tie rods, hadn't gotten around to jacking the car up, only had it for three days.
anyways, im driving, doing 80, and...BAM! right front tire blows out.
i limp to a near tire shop, new tire in and out(minus the hastle of them jacking up a slammed coiled e30!).

no more shackies! guess the previous wheel was never balanced.

Most likely a break in the inner carcass of the tire. Unless there was a visible bubble on the sidewall or some sort of external damage.
