    hi i introduce myself i am olivier i am from mauritius island small tropical island.i own an 88 318i e30 all stock with stock suspension i recently bought a set of 17''/7,5 wide et 42 i test fitted it on my car bit it touch the strut so my question is what size of spacer should i install to clear the strut please?here is a picture of the car and the wheel i bought thanks for your help

      planning to run 205/40/17 or 215/45/17.i have a pair of 215 when the wheels wil be delivered i will make a test to see how much clearance i have

        15s in the front and 20s in the rear would work fine as far as clearances go. do some measuring with the wheels mounted up to see how much room you have to go out.

          You could easily go 20/25mm on the spacers. Here is a link to my old 318 on 17x7.5 SSR Type Cs with 215/40/17 Falken RT-615. ET37 on the wheels so I did 15/20 and it really needed 20/25.

            my problem is solved i fitted some 20mm hub centric spacers on the car and its perfect it sits nice and flush now.all i need is a nice drop and different tyre set up will go for the 205/40/17,will post pics later on thanks for your help:woowoo:
