    BBS RS wheel bolt referb??

Is it possible to have the bolts holding the wheels together nickle plated or something of that sort.? I have a set of 15in rs's that were redone about 2 years ago but whoever redid them used the old bolts and they are just dull and dont look the greatest.

Any input would be great. If you know a place that would do it and how much it might cost would be awesome too!

    Thanks

i think most people just buy new bolts when they rebuild. So you could take them apart and install some new bolts and just go from there...

Buy new, they stretch when installed so they could snap when reinstalled.

wire brush in a bench grinder then polishing wheel does wonders. Then clear coat, cuz they'll get rusty in absolutely no time. Try not to get let go of the bolt, it may impale you in the face and/or genitals. I have a sick style 5 bolt refinishing tip, cuz the heads are round with no need to grab with a socket so you can really go to town on them....

I put the thread of the bolt in my cordless dewalt, spin the bench grinder with wire wheel and the drill so I can go to town on it but still be nice and even. Then I use the drill to spin the fucker in a microfiber full of mother's mag polish. Comes out shining nice with almost no effort. But doing it 136 times gets kind of old.

thanks mossman! Only reason I thought about actually refurbishing them rather than buying new ones is because most of the bolts if not all of them are the original bbs ones.

^The original BBS bolts on mine are in basically mint condition, they are coming off for different bolts.
