    Is this re-drill safe? Need opinions asap

    I'm interested in purchasing some wheels I found at a buddys shop, but its been redrilled from a 5x120 to a 4x100.. it doesn't look right to me, correct me if I'm wrong please!

    its too much in the center bore!!
    & the existing holes werent filled

      I bet those are steal inserts. If you understand the physics of how wheels and lug bolts work, it being close to the center bore isn't as big as a deal as you would think it would be.

      I kinda prefer fill-and-drill - not fill and insert. But that's just a hunch - I have no proof what is better.

        general idea is that you cant redrill 5x wheels to 4x patterns because the centre bore on 5x wheels is larger thus you end up with your holes very close to the centre, as you have there. it does look like they are steel inserts mind you but i wouldnt really trust them..

              Dont buy those unless you plan on spending alot of cash on tires! They are bbs rs007s which are metric sizes. Meaning a regular 16 tire will not fit on them.

                    There are standard sized ones apparently, but they did also make them in Euro-metric size.
