    What offset?

Was wondering what offset I'm looking for with these sized wheels (16x8.5) and with these tires (245/45).

The absolute highest (numerically) would be about ET15. That or lower should fit, unless they're huge R-compounds.

Someone broke into my trailer stored in Gahanna, OH (Columbus, OH) the night between June 13th and 14th and stole bunch of stuff, most of it is little except for a set of wheels with tires.

The wheels are silver Kosei K1 custom drilled for BMW E30 offset 17mm 4x100 16x8.5. They are in fairly good shape, have some cone marks, blue valves are without caps. Two of the wheels have 3-prong indentations on the inside from tire mounting machine, they go all the way through the paint.

The stickers on the inside or the rims do not have a value for PCD since these were originally sold as blanks.

Tires are Hoosier Radial DOT Wets in 245/45/16. They are slightly used. Two of the tires are of old design (production date 06/04) without the little holes on the outside blocks and two are of new design (production 17/04) with holes on the inside blocks. One of the old design tires has a molding defect on one side. It appears as though there wasn't enough rubber to fill the mold completely. This defects are very small, but are present almost all the way around.
where are the wheels and who is selling them, just looking out.

      :?:

                I'm going 16x8.5 Koseis (NEW) with 225/45/16s.

Unless Mtriple wants to sell me his other wheels...now on to my PM.

                    Hey now...

215s or 205s would be euro, I'm hoping this will look normal enough. I would be doing 245s, but I don't feel like rolling my fenders for days.

Have you talked to Bob about how much he had to roll his fenders? I can't imagine it would be too difficult to get 245s under there. A guy that posts under "bimmerbishi" (or something like that) on bf.c is running a similar set up.

Hmmm, maybe I'll give him a shout. 245s would be badass. Especially T1-Rs.

Well I picked a different wheel, so I won't be of use. I posted a picture request on bf.c and didn't come up with anything.
