    Can't stop rubbing.

I'm running 205/55/15 proxes on 15x8 Diamond Racing steelies in the rear of my car, with stiff IE3 springs. I can't for the life of me get the passenger side of my car to stop rubbing, my driver side trailing arm bushings are shot so I have enough camber there to prevent rubbing, but my passenger side ones are good and I'm rubbing moderately bad. Already have a etching on the sidewall of the tire carved in the form on the inside of the fender.

My fenders are just about as rolled as I can get them. I need this car ready to take 300lbs in the rear by Saturday morning as I'm going on a roadtrip with friends. Any ideas?

Roll it more. Did you take out the undercoat behind the lip when you rolled it?

Those big rubber chunks people throw in between springs.

Or order some stiff rate, long springs from GC and throw them in the back.

        Options!:
        Roll more
        Stiffer spring/coil
        Spring pads
        Replace rtab/rsfb
        Different wheels
        Don't invite the fat friend

        The cheapest option is obvious

too tall of a tire! 55's is too tall! need to be at the most 50's. that should take away some rubbing issues also

Extra set of spring pads in there might just do the trick, and it'll take very little time to do it.

I was looking at running 205's on a 16x8 with 0 offset and found that only 205/40/16's would satisfy my needs. Not sure if you're as low as I am, but I would look at getting a lower profile tire. Something like a 205/45/16 should be ok I'd think. Doesn't sound like you're super low.

As for a quick fix, throw in a few extra spring pads in the rear. Just head to a junk yard and look for them above and below the stock rear springs. Take them and put them over your current ones so there are 2 or 3 or however many you find necessary. Cheap solution that doesn't take long.

less tire, also progressive springs will allow for more ass shaking and rubbing compared to linear
