    16x7 ET45 205/45/16 fit question

What's the best way to make 16x7 ET45 ASA AR1 wheels with 205/45/16 tires fit on a stock suspension 1986 325e?

I'm pretty sure that I'll need spacers for the front, but I'm not sure what the best size would be? Not sure if I need spacers for the rear?

Will I need hub centric rings? I believe the hub bore is larger than 57.1mm.

if I get spacers with a hub centric lips, will I still need rings?

    Thanks!

you'll need 20mm spacers all around. if you plan on keeping the stock suspension for a while, 205/45's will be fine, you might want 50's instead. the stock center bore is 57.1 so if it is larger you'll need rings for sure.

      MG325i - Thanks so much!

I just took off a bottlecap and did a test fit on the front... looks like the problem is that the spokes are hitting the outside of the brake caliper - even with a 10mm spacer. 15mm might clear it, but to be safe, I think I'll take your advice and go with 20mm.... hub centric of course (which means I'll need hub rings and extended bolts).

Anyone have any 20mm 57.1 hub bore spacers they want to sell?
