    Another tire/suspension setup question

I got a set of BORBET type A 16x9 ET15 and I was debating if I should go with 215/40/16 or even with 225/45/16(was told that would work too). with 5mm front and 10 mm rear spacers. My fenders are pulled and rolled.

Then I searched online and read that with my suspension the wheels will look like shit. I have H&R sport with Bill sport.

What do you think regarding both tire size and suspension?
    Thanks

Either size you get will have significant wheel gap. Maybe try 215/45?

I DO Not personally like Low offset wheels with stretched tires on something that isn't LOW. The point of stretch is to clear the fenders when you are really low. If you have fender gap or don't plan on going low I think sticking with a different wheel setup would be better.

If you want to do more to make it fit right and look good with what you have now then I'd personally change out your springs for at least H&R Race with drop hats up front. If you can go for some Ground Control then that would be even better. A 215/40/16 will look good if you are dropped enough. It's a pretty common size for E30's on 16x9's. I also don't see the point of running the spacers if you don't need it for brake clearance. I understand if you want to be really flush with the fenders, but if the car isn't the right height like I said and the camber isn't dialed in to all make it look perfect then adding spacing is just extra poke that isn't needed. An E30 on 16x9 +15 looks good sitting right.

If you research here, google, and other sites for "E30 16x9 215/40/16" I'm sure you will come up with plenty of examples.

      to start you off...
