    k1's with a 17 offset

So I picked up a set of 15x7 K1's and was told they were a direct bolt on for the e30 by the seller, went to mount them this evening and that is not the case. There is a significant gap around the hub took a peek at the inspection sticker on the back and they are 15x7 4x100 with a 17 offset. I have no idea what these wheels are made for, does anyone have any clue if these can be made to work on my car? Thanks in advance.

Did you ask what the Center Bore specs were? I'm sure you could get away with a stud conversion.

I found some hubcentrric rings that I think will work, what points should I measure from to determine the hub bore?

Measure this bore, if its 73mm, than the link you posted is the correct size ring you'll need.
The 17 offset on a 15x7 is fine and your wheels will be about flush with the fenders.

as you have discovered, offset, size, width isnt the only thing to consider, you need centre bore too. But a ring will solve your issues, so most people dont bother to worry unless the centre is abnormally small. You will find many aftermarket wheels have the big 73mm bore as it suits almost all hubs from small cars to large cars (with rings where necessary)

Quick update for those of you that might run into this problem it was a 73.1 Hub bore which is pretty common, I picked up a set of 73.1 to 57.1 rings and have been running for them for a year with no problems.

I believe these wheels were a BMW E21 fitment, and are exceedingly rare. Tire Rack used to sell these back in the day with the proper spacers. They must have gotten lost somehow.

I'm glad you got the spacer situation figured out.
