Extended Lug bolt Information (stud kit fakes)

    Hey anyone,
I've seen a few photos of some wheels with extended lugs (the other way). They look like a stud kit, but they are actually bolts with long heads. I even remember seeing a picture of a set with a locking bolt. Anyone have any information on these? Where to buy? Etc.?

Here's a picture of what I've talking about..

I'm not even sure how to search for these (I've been looking around the WWW for awhile too). I'll post the picture with the locking ones up later (if I can find it again). Any info would help. Thanks

Well, I've been wanting to run a small stud kit since I got those wheels (stuck on DTM). However, there's no way that I know of to lock studs/ lug bolts (and I know that's pretty counter intuative)... I was on Stance works or Speedhunters or (insert random site) and saw those long lug bolts. I thought they kinda looked cool, but then saw a picture of one with a locking end. It was black and needed an adapter to get it off. So, it looked like a stud, but had a lock. I need to figure out where I saw that picture (it might have been a Japanese car even).

I think I would like that...

^^ None of those are lockers for the long stud lug nuts (at least that I've been able to find)

Here's what I've been looking for/ curios about:

I'm I just being an idiot here? Are those long bolts or some crazy lugs on some studs?

^ those are lugs from project kics

extremely well made and cost over $200 a pop
every 5th/4th lug depending on application uses a special tool

I use lugs from MXP on my STI which are medium length. They all look like standard hex shape, but every 5th lug is shaped a little off the equal dimension side to side and has a slit in one side that uses a special tool. Japanese lug makers are extremely innovative on designs that look good, weigh nothing, are strong, and keep your wheels from getting stolen.

Yeah those are lug nuts. That car has studs, not bolts.

Just use 90mm studs, without spacers, you have to have a super long 17mm socket to get them off anyway.
