Borbet CF to E30... hub rings?

Impossible? Been working with Jim@Tire Rack. Sent the 'proper' set based on numbers and the car. Too big. Sent the smaller size for Borbet wheels... too small.

Is it impossible to find hubrings for a Borbet CF? I want to pop 225s on them for DD use. Matches the overall look of the car... bad.

So where can I get some of these things to get them mounted?

i'm just throwing this out there to get some discussion going, but here in Australia if you know the bore you have and the bore you want you can just call/visit local wheel and tyre places and they should have some slip on plastic rings to suit?

alternatively, there is a website i found once called hubrings.com or something like that which has almost every type available. i would just google the size from and to and you should get a hit i would suspect..

Yah I know the E30 stock size. I don't have a micrometer or similar to really measure the hub :(

I could do studs... will that be perfect? I HATE vibrations while driving. The smallest little vibration just kills me.

Take the wheel to a local tire shop or machine shop who WILL have a micrometer to measure the wheel.

That's what I did on my RSs when I discovered one rear wheel had a larger hub bore than the other.
