i just picked up a set do i need hub centric rings or spacers for them? anyone else running the same set up? thanx for any help ps i don't have them yet or i would just test fit them to see ha

Yes you will need some hub centric rings. The center bore is larger. Also you will need 5mm spacer in the front, or grind down the brake calipers.

and e38s have a 72.5 so no rings

E39 74.1 so you would need rings.

wait don't e30's have 57.1 center bore wheels? So wouldn't you need to have one to fill the difference to a 72.5 center bore?

i have style 5s RC090s 17x8 and im using a 10mm spacer with the 57.1 (e30s hub) to 74.1 hub centric adapter. longer lug bolts 215/40/r17 tire

you will need rings no matter what 5x120 style 5 it is.
