DWS provide great wet traction and great snow traction, but they give up a lot in steering response and sidewall stiffness. A lot. 225/45-18 DWSes have worse response than my 225/55-16 Vredestein Wintracs.

I will let you know what I think of them once they are installed! I am not tracking my car, or doing to much speed racing. I figure what they provide in wet traction and snow traction is worth the slight loss in steering response and side wall stiffness as compared to other high performance tires, although I can't vouch for this loss in steering response as I have not driven with them yet. If this is the case it sounds like a decent trade off for a dd especially with wet leaves soon to be on the road and winter being right around the corner! Thanks for the feedback! I expect the continentals to be a very good overall all season tire, they seem to be getting great reviews.

I have DWS on my Z4M coupe and I love them....in fact, I found the wheels I want to buy and now I know the tire size for some DWS for the E30, thanks!
