Tires fitment issues. Need your input

Ok so I bought ESM wheels and 205/50/r16 based on what most run on here. A bit of stretch but some meat also. Well after installed the wheels I have tons rubbing, no stretch. Rolled and pulled the fenders, which helped, but I still cant give it more than 50% throttle or its rubs, and any turning or cornering it rubs. I have already decided these tires are screwed, but I need your input on exactly what tire you use and size. Why were these so meaty with no stretch? Just the tire type? Thanks guys :D

    Here are the specs:

Bilstein Spings (no clue on drop, cant find them anymore)
    Bilstein Sports

    Esm 16x8 0 offset

    Nexen 205/50/R16

And to give you an idea of the meaty tires:

    #2
More negative camber and stiffer spring rates.

i think a smaller sidewall would help a lot too... like a 205/40/16. good luck

Oh man idk where you got the info where most people run that size.
The common size is 205/45 for that low offset and width.

45 sidewalk will stretch moderately and minimize rubbing.
Wish you didn't pull the fenders

No, a 205/40 will look like rubberbands.
          It's a 16x8, not a 17.

I thought you couldnt adjust the camber on the rear. I have vog camber plates up front.

            Yeah, the sidewall is huge.

It was on a few threads with ESM wheels in it. Guess I heard wrong lol. Whats bad about the pull? Even though I wish I didnt either. Didnt come out as smooth as I wanted. So with a 205/45, what type of tire. I heard specific tires stretch more than others?

No it only rubs in 1st and 2nd gear with decent amount of acceleration, and any types of large turns. Its a pain. Tempted to sell them at this point.:(

Youre probably right. They are Bilstein springs, but I cant find ANY info on them. Guess they were sold in Europe only, so finding info is a pain.

Idk. Personal preference I guess? I don't like pulled fenders unless it has a MEATY tire or you're "stanced" and need it.
Don't worry about what tire brand stretches differently.. with that said, it sounds like you don't mind what kind of tires you get, so get some sort of cheap Falken. Soft sidewalls.

Yours are 16x9 in the rear and offset is different.
That doesn't apply him and his wheel spec.

Yeah, Im not too worried about the type. The car isnt quick so I dont drive it like it is, so Ill check the falken's out and see how it goes. Thanks a lot.
