    The debate of the wheels

Ok so I fell in love with a set of borbet type b's and when I tell people that they have a completely different image of the wheel then I'm talking about, I'm thinking of these wheels when I say it Click image for larger version

Now I could be wrong but I don't think I am. Are these or are they not borbet type b's?

It really was a useless thread but I got into a disagreement with three of my buddies and I decided to let the r3v world decide the final answer

well your final verdict is they are type b's.
your friends probably just think of borbet a's whenever they hear anything about borbet wheels.
        edit:
also the wheels depicted may not look like borbet b's to them because they have flat center caps instead of the usual hex center caps, if that clears up any confusion.
the wheels depicted are owned by a member on r3v, he can tell you all the exact specs of the wheel.

no problem good luck on coping a set of these! ;) and for future reference use a little search bar, and if it needs more than search bar at least post it in the designated sub forum :)

Also those are 17's, from what I know they only come in 5 lug unless redrilled. Usually Borbet type b's that are on e30s are 16's which do come in 4x100.

I'd love to get my hands on a set I've been looking for some time now. If anyone has any for sale, I'm interested.

this. what you posted in the original type b, but somewhere down the line this wheel also got the same letter:

I had the mesh in mind, but I also remembered those 5 spokes.

I dunno why they'd do that.

My top 5 favorite wheels. Not a fan of that particular cap though.

Ok now I see the miss understanding, so in the end nobody was really wrong cuz we both had a different idea of the wheel which were both right. Problem solved, thanx r3v members
