Mine's Diamond Schwartz but it looks just like this pic above. I still think that looks pretty damn good.

I'm 35. I'm an expert at a lot of things. I've seen some pretty stupid comments by a ton of people on this board and other forums but I've never bothered to denigrated them. I know a lot about a of things. I am not however an expert on hellaflush or whatever. I just like my e30 and was thinking about making it sweeter. I'm not really trying to be cool or be in some club. I just want to make it cool for me. I've read a bunch of stuff on here and as you know like all forums there are always people with different opinions. I know I could just get some H&R sports and bilsteins and slap some wheels on it with some 20 offsets and ride out. But I was just looking for info. So now that I've given you a laugh anyone wanna help me? BTW I make plenty of $. I could just go to a shop and get it all done but I like to be a bit more hands on than that and I like to know what I'm talking about before I make decisions. Anyway... Thanks.

Lol, im certainly curious of your age, however do some more reading about sizing and offsets before you really want to go flush or "hellaflush" Its alot of work and will destroy your car eventually. lol

Looking to drop my 318is and get new wheels and tires.

I'm brand new to the site as a member but I've been lurking for years.
So I have a very clean '91 318is. Currently it is almost completely stock. I did a z3 short shifter and a Mark D Chip. I've been enjoying the totally stock look for almost 3 years now but by this fall I am planning on changing it all up. I'm looking for advice. I know I have a 4 cylinder car so I'm not looking to win any races. I don't plan on auto x'ing. I do love downshifting and hitting corners hard though. I like the flush look and I want to be stanced but I don't like the super low look. I live in San Diego so the roads are pretty good and my commute is about 10 mins a day. Here are my questions:
    H&R Race or Sport?
Are there more complications driving Hellaflush vs Flush?
Is it more expensive to make the car Hellaflush?
I am pretty set on getting Borbet Type A's. I love the classic look.
    Will the Borbets ride flush?
Is it better to get a low offset for flush look?
With the 4 cylinder 318is is it better to stick with 15" wheels or can I push 16's?
My paint is in pretty good shape but it's starting to fail in a few places. I will likely get it repainted too. I'm thinking I should wait until the wheels and suspension are done. Is that the right call?
If I'm way off on any of these things let me know!
    thanks!

Lol, you took my comment wrong, I know why he gives safe advice, just most people that give safe advice don't push things to the limit.

Hi guys. Don't hate my non-E30, I just wanted to prove that the guy spitting out fitment answers 24/7 actually runs something decent.

    17x9.5 +15 205/45
    17x11 -9 245/40

    :D
