sometimes they sleeve too, like drill the hole bigger and put in a metal sleeve for extra strength.

that looks a very lazy way to do it...

I agree, it does look lazy. But I wonder how over-engineered wheels are - and how much metal that thing is grabbing if it makes a difference? I honestly don't know.

But I bet with something like a wheel, it's failure is like 4 times it's max load that it will ever see...or something like that. So it does make you wonder.

As mentioned, you have two holding. yes it shouldn't be like that but you should be ok. I've driven around with 3 bolts holding my wheels on. Even with a 5 lug I've had 3. As long as you aren't beating on the car continuously.

Sketchy redrill in my opinion. Shoddy work.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering what esm ment on their website with red (*) on the bottom. I can only assume that they sold all of the real 4x100 and were left with a pile of 5x100 and other sizes. Thats a lot of money to spend on swiss cheese. I do wonder why no pix of the holes are not on the website nor on ebay...i guess it would hurt sales. Kinda sneaky on their part.

Is this actually dangerous? In all honesty, you have 2 good bolts holding on, and two that MIGHT break, but would they actually break on a hard corner or a big bump?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I was thinking the same, but if you look close at the lug bolt on the right side, you can see threads, which means no sleeve.

They are probably fine to drive on, given that most of the load is put on the centerbore, not the lugs. Still sketchy that you bought them this way new. I would return them and have a reverse put on the payment if needed.
