will 18x8.5 wheels with a 15mm offset fit on an m3? if not what does it taketo make them fit

Not even close. That's fender smashage zone already, by a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch. You'd need an offset in the mid 20s to have those fit right.Adam Fogg- '88 M3
