best tyres for stock basketweaves?

I think selection in US and Australia will be a little different. I doubt your car sees any snow, so do you want strictly summer tires?

Shoulda specified I was looking for a summer tire. fairly sure the range of tyres we have would be fairly similar.

I know that its beginning of the summer in Australia. And I also know that their winter is about 40-50F so I am pretty sure they dont even use winter tires there.

as said it depends on what you want. My dad would have thought tires he got 80k miles out of but wouldnt go around a corner to save your life were the greatest tires made. While he just couldnt grasp that I thought running r compounds on the street and getting 5k miles out them them was awesome

I'll just go ahead and answer the OP with: Dunlop Direzza Star Specs, 195 14s.

Excellent all around tire with very good dry traction and excellent wet traction.

Not expensive, either.
