    14x7 tire size question

K so in the process of refinishing my 14x7 et25 wheels I have noticed some dry rotting on the tires that came with them. Also the current size on them is 195/60/14 and they're not really meaty enough for me. My car will eventually be lowered (hopefully I'll get my hands on some time and air tools soon) so my question to all of you is what would be the ideal tire size for my car? 205/60? or just the stock 195/65? or something else. If the answer is obvious I'm sorry I'm just still kind of a noob when it comes to tire fitment/tire sizes.

    Thanks! :pimp:

edit: just thought about this. It might be that since my car isnt lowered yet that I dont like the current size thats on them.

Look in this thread, granted it was a question for 14x6.5, but they might be what you're looking for

They're OZ Hartge type A's. See sig for pics. Actually just put the last coat of paint on them. 2 coats of clear then a day or two of drying, then ill get some pix of them back on my car.

            I'd run 205/60 tires.

yea I think thats what I've settled on just gunna see how much longer I can run the 195's that are on them. How much dry rotting is too much? I sure any is bad, the cracks aren't crazy deep or anything but they're starting to form.

before you got too crazy about size, find some tires. if 205 limits you even further dont bother it wont make much of a difference.

ya go ahead and look on the internet.

theres about 5 kinds of tires available that are the right size, 195 65

205 changes it to about 2 kinds.

Well actually your list shows some yokohamas that are discontinued, but not available elsewhere so thats a worthwhile list

the rest are all chinese brands that are as expensive or more expensive than more accepted brands. All crap basically. Federal formozas are one of the ones I found in the local shop les schwaub.
Yes I made a complete list of all available in the stock size h rated, including these worthless ones you listed.

And you, youre a straight idiot with your head about 2 feet up your rear obviously. Im

just dying to hear what else you have to say dip.

Meditate on this..... Calm one two.... there are more tires available for 195/65/14 than there are for 205/60/14 make sure that those that are available for one arent better tires first, before you decide on the size. the tire is more important that the size.

Concentrate. Calm concentrate...... remember, the tire is more important than the size. Ask your mom or dad to help you with shopping or your staff that helps you with things and takes you shopping.

make sure when you shop for tires, you dont use google shopping or some brain dead method because all that comes up is scam sites.
Some are actually selling tires that are supposed to be destroyed, charging so much in shipping you can get michelins for cheaper etc.

They are sites that take advantage of people with low iqs like you.

Wow I struck a nerve.. Trust me I'm plenty calm I just felt like disproving your statement about there only being two options. I know some of them are shit. I think if anything you are the one who needs to calm down its only the internet and what do you care what kind of tires I buy? Thanks for your input now stay the fuck away from my thread.
