my new wheels. need help with offset.

i just picked up some new wheels.

    they're ARE 398 2 piece wheels.

16x7 and i measured a 5.5" backspacing (back of the mounting pad to outer lip) which puts offset at et38 according to the online conversion chart.

i have to get adaptors since they're 4x108 but what final offset should i be looking for?

car is a 87 vert lowered on jom suspension. daily driver. front fender lip got pushed out a little from current wheels so im going to be rolling the fenders anyways.

For 7" wide, I would say anything from an et20, for a nice stock looking setting to an et10, to be more flush. Might have to do a mild roll for et10 though.
