    16" Style 5 centercap options

Has anybody tried different centercaps on a 16" Style 5 wheel? Say like from a 15" Style 5 or another BBS type wheel? I dont need them to attach necessarily, just for the patterns and diameters to match. I have an idea bugging me that needs this answered.

I have no clue, but next time I go to junkyard I'll try to mix and match caps and post pics here.

I have tried fitting several differnt caps from popular BBS mesh wheels.
      Caps from 15 and 17 inch style5 wheels won't fit 16 inch.
And i don't think that any other would fit either.
Caps from 15 inch style 5s stay on but as soon as you gain some speed, they pop out.
Even though the mesh pattern would line up, the guts of the caps are completely different. And that is why they won't fit.

Blackout, Are you saying 15" Style 5 caps match in pattern and diameter but don't stay attached at speed? Cause that is what i want to hear!

Yes, the meshes line up nicely but the fitment is not flush. The cap won't go all the way in and cannot lock itself like the 16" cap does. The gap between the wheel and the cap is about 5mm.

Hex style caps are for 15" Style5. NOT 16 inch. 16" Never came in hex style caps.
And if you see someone running them, they are 15" caps fitted on a 16" wheel. Looks dumb if you ask me. It does not fit right.
