    BBS RS buying guide?

Hey guys, i'm looking to buy a set of bbs rs's, but I was wondering what I should be looking for.

For example, where do i look for cracks? Are there any other signs that should warn me to stay away?

Also, these particular wheels i'm looking at are a staggered 16x7 with an offset of 43.9, and 16x8 with an offset of 39.9 (?)...what kind of spacers will i need to make them fit right on my car?

    thanks guys.

Make sure the center hex nut is not all stripped to crap.

I picked em up for $665. Good deal? Theres a slight bend on the rims of one wheel, but it can't be too expensive to fix that, right?
        Also, normal curb rash.

If anyone can tell me what size spacers and bolts I need, that'd be great.

          Are they 4x100?
That offset sounds like a 4x114 wheel.

You need a 20mm spacer to fit decent tire. Bigger for more flushness.
That offset is also giving you the chance to get bigger lips :)

Yeah...they were a 5x114, i think, but it's been redrilled. It makes the bolts hard to put in without hitting center.

When you say flush, do you mean flush with the fenders?

Also, where can I get decent spacers that won't cost $100-150 a pop? Or do I just have to go with H&R?

If you want to compare with mines here's some links to help you:

              Front:

              Rear:

Keep in mind that my front wheels clear the struts by about 5mm and my rear clear the trailing arms by about 5mm too. Maybe less, I never mesured the clearance but it looks like 5mm.

I also suggest tuner bolts since they have a smaller diameter and will have a better fitting.

                BBS RS is overpriced
Becouse guys buy Them on a junkyard for 200$, then polish them for 20 bucks , can spray them for 10 bucks, and then asking 1000-1500 $
