    alternative wheels

hope you guys won't lynch me for wanting cheaper alternative wheels that aren't bmw.

i know mini wheels and miata wheels fit, but who has tried these or other cheaper wheels on a e30? just wanting to see how they fit or what kind of deals you got.

i have bottle caps now and would like 16's

    so what you guys got?

What is your definition of cheap? You can find bmw 16's for relatively cheap popping up, the tires are gonna be the most expensive part usually, depending.

but wouldn't the bmw's that are 16's be 5 lug? how much (round bout) would drill and fill cost?

my definition is ~$350'ish for a set...on a limited budget, until next year

Miata and Mini have a smaller hub bore... neither are direct fit. Find some soft-ass TWS Hockenheim R's and be done with it. The perfect cheap, heavy, and shitty 16'' wheels.

didn't know that about the hubs....

well thinking i'll just do the style 5's and find someone local to do the fill and drill on them.

          thanks all
