What spacers to use with et38 wheels

The wheels I think Im gonna be buying are 17X7 with an offset of et38 so my question is what size spacers will I need and what length wheel bolts. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure 15mm would be perfect

    Anyone confirm this?

      They'll mount without spacers. Seriously.

But to look good, 15mm minimum. 20mm if you want to roll a bit.

15mm should do it. The MMs I just sold were ET38 and I had FK 15mm spacers and they worked fine and fit pretty flush.

20mm will work if you are not running a super wide tire. It will be really close to the fender lip.
15mm will fit much better if you are looking to put on wider tires.

Im gonna want the same look I have with the ///M leightweights and I beleive there et17 (jay help me out). So to get the wheel to fill out the fenders 15mm spacers would be ideal? I would like to run a 215/40. Thanks for your help fellas.

What about an et42 wheel Jay, can they bolt up with out spacers as well?

              edit:the wheels are 17X7.5

To fill out the wheelwell to the same extent as the LTW fakes (which are ET18 ), you'd need ET12 with the 7" wide wheel. So, 25mm spacers would just about do the trick. Keep in mind those ET18 LTWs do stick out too far, too far to even look good to me. If a wheel has a deep lip and sticks out that far is looks great, but not with a flat face. Fitting 215's would also require a roller.

If you're going to run 215/40/17 tires, run a 20mm spacer. You can't fit any wider than a 215/40 on a 17x7" wheel anyways, so go 20mm for the aggressive look. If you really want to play it safe the 15mm spacer will look fine (think Jordan's Miglia's), but the 20mm is even better.

                  Your the man Jay.

You been to Mosport Jay? I used to race formula fords on the small track. Seen many many hot cars there. Ontario is an amazing place.

Yup, been there. Still have yet to drive on it, Randy Sparre's been trying to pull me out there for a while now. Maybe next year, I'm going to start off on Shanonnville (the other local track) and hopefully reach Mosport before the year's over. I hear the full track is pretty damn challenging, I can't wait.
