16X8 +0 offset in rear, issues?

Looking into getting some new wheels.

    Was thinking 16X7 +25 in front and 16X8 +0.

I currently have 16X7.5 et23 all around. I am pretty sure the tires are 205/50r16's.

So, im not really concerned with the front at all, but mostly woundering about the rear. Does anybody think it will stick out to far and beat the crap out of my wheel arch?

It's an 89 325i and it's lowered. The rear tires current sit slightly under the wheel arch in the rear.

I have been considering fender flares in the rear for a while and cutting the rear arches out for wider tires in the rear. Would that be a good idea before the purchase of those wheels if I was definetly going to buy them?
89 325i: 86 535i motor+trans, JE forged pistons, MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, Comp turbo, GoodNTight b34 turbo manifold, e30.de motor mounts, AKG 75D engine/trans mounts, custom 3" exhaust, intercooler, MS2PNP, Megan Racing Coilovers.

I run some cheap XXR 16x8 with a 0ET on my e30 cab.

I had to roll my fender, and cut the lip off for it to clear and I'm lowered aswell.

no need for flares or any extra, just a solid roll and lose the lip.

    btw i'm running 205/40/16 tires.

I had 16x8 BBS RS with a +2 offset on my 88 coupe, and it was totally flush with my fender.

        I ran a 205/40 Falken 512 and I did roll my fenders.

If your sig is accurate, your springs are the achilles heel of your setup. Pro-kit spring rates are too soft for aggressive fitment, you will definitely be rubbing over bumps and with passengers.
