redrilled style 5 or euroweaves. that is the question

Ok so im having a hard time deciding what i want.both are in the for sale section at pretty good price. Im leaning towards the redrilled 15" style 5s. It looks like they have a littlw more of a lip. Thanks for the help. This will be the first set of wheels i buy soi wantto make the rifht choice.

Euroweaves will be timeless. As far as 15's go this is the way to go.

I wouldn't autocross on redrills. How good is the redrill on the style 5s you are considering? All redrills are not created equal. A poor drill on a press is a $60 job and really sketch where a quality job can be $300 or more. Just depends how much you value your life.

Euroweaves. They can be resold for much more in the long run. And the little extra lip does not matter. I think, unless they are two piece, the lips should not be too large.

Thats my opinion. I loved my euroweaves when I had them.

Where did you read anything about auto-x'ing?!

OP, it comes down to what kind of look you want really.
The Euroweaves while cool are just a stock wheel that hundreds of thousands of e30's came with and it will look perfectly fine.

While the e34 (or whatever) mesh wheels will sit further out and have a noticeably wider lip. It will be OEM+ in a way.

For the hassle of Fill and drill just ask Nico to send you a set. Easier. Less money in the long run.

Teaguer the auto-x ing was only mentioned by me. It is just a statement basically saying a wheel with the correct bolt pattern and centerbore will have more integrity than a modified redrilled wheel with the wrong centerbore. Thus I probably would avoid extremely aggressive driving on them. It's just about trusting your cars safety rather than worrying about the long term integrity of a modified wheel.
