    anyone running 225 50 15s?

    I just got some bbs 378's et 20
    225 50 will be alost the exact overall diameter of stock, cant seem to find any decent tires (rt615s) in this size... anyone running these and how do they look?
    I am on H&R races and may run like a 5mm spacer just for stance

        looks like the only tires in this size are falken ziex 512s or 912s The khumo ecstas are intriguing @73 a tire thats cheap I want something in like a 200 treadware hough what say ye?

              Those were Hankook RS2's. Great tires for me. They had great traction with the S52 and wore evenly. No, I had Vogtland springs then-- In between H&R Sport and Race springs as far as drop.

                I just switched from 205 50 15, to 225 50 15. Maybe it's just me, or need to get used to it, but my car does not feel as nimble as it was with the 205.

                I went with 225 to get more rubber on the ground, and a little more clearance as I've been through 2 oil pans. (Living in Mexico has it' good and bad points)

                    My wheels are 7 inch as well. No issues with 225 50.

                      same reasons im looking to run those sizes, ground clearance nd bigger contact patch maybe its just the tires being a higher treadware why it doesnt feel nimble

                        Mine were 15x8's-- special ordered a long time ago. 225/50's fit fine on 15x7's though.
