    Porsche wheel tire pressure sensors?

    whats up guys..
i bought a set of Porsche Design 90 for my e30
but they come with some sensors inside the inner part of the wheel.

well one of the sensors have broken off and the previous owner says i could either replace the sensor or weld the area for the sensors closed...

i want to repair the wheels before i mount them on the car, but im not sure what to do.. anyone ever deal with this before?
what would be my best bet in solving this broken sensor problem?

    here are some pics:
heres what the sensors look like

and here is the broken sensor

I think those can be replaced with regular valve stems.

that is the stupidest design I have ever seen for a TPMS!!! Thats almost worse than ford making a band that goes along inside the wheel...FML.

Anyway its hard to tell because it looks like some of the rubber is painted silver or thats just more metal. If its rubber you can pop it out (deflated of course) and just get another valve stem. if it is truly metal than im even more disappointed in the design. However it is porsche and its not like every car has a 5x130 bolt pattern.

Good luck hope you figure it out. Let us know what you find out i will be curious...
