    Give me your honest opinion.

I take others opinion a little too seriously when it comes to styling. I have a chance to pick up some Borbet type A's 16x9 but not sure about them. What do you guys think?

You seriously need other people opinions on Type A's? Need a picture of your car too. Can't give my opinion unless I can see both parties. I love Type A's, but would say no to them unless you are low

I'd say no even if you have low. They're so played out on the e30

that is a large width wheel for a non flared car.
          plus wrong center bore.
that is not cheap price either.
          not bad looking though.

Tunershop has them for $1240 shipped on their eBay store. I may get them for my MKIII Jetta. :)

They're super sweet but also overplayed. I agree, you also need to be pretty dern low.

Something about the Borbet A's that make my dick limp. They're just ugly, there's no way around it.

I like how 80's they are which is perfect for our boxy 80's cars. In terms of modern day design? Yes, they are ugly. I paid $550 for mine with newish tires and I would never spend much more than that. 1200 is not even close to worth it imo.

Also, 16x9 equals lame tire size

A's do look good, but as mentioned are very played out. But hey, so are RS's and we still like them.
