    Borbet A's

    Hey guys,

Im know these are questions that have been asked before, but i recently picked up a set or Borbet A's here in ATL.
Ive been looking around to see other member's setups for this wheel and I wanted to get some clarification.

The wheel specs for the wheels are 16x9 et 15 all around.

Do I need get a 3mm spacer for the front to keep the wheel from hitting the strut?
Also, would i be able to use the same size wheel bolts? Or would i need longer ones to accommodate the spacer?
What do you guys think of wheel studs?
Which would be more cost effective?

Keep in mind that I still want to daily my stock wheels, but use the Borbets for occasions to keep cost of tires down. So which setup would be best for my situation?
Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to run into the least amount of problems. :nice:

    Thanks!
    -Tony
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Unless you car has 45mm strut housings (generally early 318i) you will need at least 3mm spacer front, and to make it even I'd run a 10mm rear if you can(depending on suspension and degree of guard rolling).

With studs you have to be careful with wheels that have caps if you get longer studs, but with a 3mm spacer you should be fine on stock bolts. (As long as at least the width of the bolt protrudes from the wheel/spacer you should be OK - 12mm or so.)
