So I have been shopping around for a new set of wheels for quite some time. I didn't want to drop the money on a set of RS nor did I want to order something new and shiny for my $400 beater so I sat at a crossroads for a while thinking about it. I almost pulled the trigger on a set of euroweaves, although I was certain they weren't exactly what I wanted.
Turns out I missed out on the set of euroweaves and since I needed a new fan shroud, I headed off to the junkyard. Stumbling through the limited import section I saw a complete set of BBS RZ437 on an e36.

Pretty nasty, huh? Well for $100 I couldn't complain. I had a set of BBS that I knew were going to cost me a few bucks to refinish but it was far less than spending what I had planned on another set, so I brought them home, yanked the tires and got to work.

They cleaned up ok, but the story goes a little deeper. All four of the tires on the car were shredded and the outer lips were chewed up something fierce.

I had this one cleaned up at a local rim repair joint and started to work sanding the lips to bring them back. Since they were machined polish to begin with, I have about 10 hours in each wheel so far. Two of them are yet to be completed so I'm still in the process. I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Still a lot of work to do. Tires will be Falken 912 205/45/16. Adapters were ordered from e30Rob this morning. As soon as they arrive, I'll throw these on the car.
Enjoy! Questions, comments and criticism welcomed.
