    Falken 452's stretch?

alright im getting new tires and i am NOT getting BFGs again.
    but i was wondering will a 225 45 16 falken be the same width as a 225 45 16 bfg gforce.
last time i messed with falkens was on the e46 m3 and we had 275 30 19s on the back then went to falkens and they were HELLA stretched with the same exact size.

so what im wondering is can i still run the same size as my bfgs or should i look into a 235 45 16 or 235 40 16?

I'm running 452's on 17x8 and 17x9. I believe when I searched most said they ran slightly skinny, but not too much. With that much side wall you shouldn't notice too much difference though. I'm running a slight stretch and they are great. You might wanna get a set slightly wider than what you currently have to keep the contact patch similar.

          Good luck trying to find a non-existent 235/40/16! :D

You've already been told that the 452's may be a little skinnier and I can tell you that the Bfg's do tend to run wide.

If thats not enough info for you why not check out the tire specs for both tires on tirerack or some other vendor??

not all tyres are made equal. some measure from the bead of the tyre. others from the side wall. some over the tread contact patch. there is huge variations between some tyres
