e39 euroweave rims on e30? (pictures)

    So I have a question.
I like the e30 euroweaves. The only problem I have with the rims is that they don't have much of a lip. Now, I don't know much about rims/tires and such, so that's why I'm asking for your guys' help.
I love the e39 wuroweaves because they're about the same as the e30's, but have a decent size dish.
Is there any way I could fit the e39 rims onto the e30, without the 5-lug conversion? Also, what are the e39 rim sizes?

The e30 ones you have pictured arent the euroweaves. As for the e39 wheels you have pictured, those are called BBS style5's rc090.

The E39 rims are 17x8 and are called Style 5 as mentioned above.

Some members have filled and drilled them to 4x100, some members run them with adapters.

Would it be better if I ran them with adapters, or if I filled and drilled them?
Which would you do, and why?

Oh and also, how much are adapters, and how much would it cost(about) to fill and drill them?

Adapters would be easier and probably cheaper than fill/drill. The adapters wouldnt be a good choice if your going to be tracking or racing. I guess you can say the same with fill/drilled wheels as well.

Why wouldn't either of them be good for tracking or racing?

                Chill son

Cause adapters and fill/drill screws up the integrity of the unsprung weight. That = Bad in the tight turns/heavy loads
You can get away with them if your doing light spirited DDing, but other than that, it's bad news

You will definitely get mixed reviews about adapters.

There are plenty of people running adapters on their track car. Check out some corvette forums... One thing you want to make sure about is (track car specifically) is whether or not you are allowed to run adapters with the group that you want to race with.

Really? Not everyone is able to reply to threads in the middle of the night.
