Trying to figure out tires for my style 5's + adapters

I plan on running my e38 style 5's with 4x100>5x120 adapters. I am looking for a good tire size to run, but it seems like a lot of guys running these use different sizes.

Discount tire has 205/45/16 Falken's for $69.99/ea. They are running a promotion until 5/13 for a $100 Visa card for purchasing 4 tires, with free shipping, that is a pretty damn sweet deal.

I just want to make sure I am getting the right size before I pull the trigger. I think 205/45 will be a decent stretch on the 16x8 wheel.

Does anyone have pics of their style 5's with similar tire sizes??

This is my setup, 205/45 is perfect imo. Slight stretch looks mean

That will be slightly smaller diameter especially with a slight stretch, a 205/50 is closer to stock diameter

225/40/16- not sure if that much will fit under there though.
I had 205/40/17 on my style 5s- more tire was impossible to fit- which is why I took them off.

Exactly what I was looking for...thanks man. Just placed my tire order.

What adapters are you using, Adaptecs? Do you have any pics of the adapters themselves? I am considering the 42 design ones, but they're definitely pricey.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't have guessed that these would end up being smaller in diameter.
