are 0 offset wheels bad for track application

i was reading a modified magazine article about drift setups by a guy who works on dai yoshiharas car and they were talking about the negatives of using too aggressive offset rims.

ive seen some nice 16x8 0 offset rims but if its gonna effect turn in and bring about other sets of geometry problems which i dont understand then it may not be worth it. i just dont want to get them and hate the feel of driving them aggressively.

track or drifting? You were pretty vague. When you mention changing the aggressiveness, do you mean 8j vs 9j with same offsets, or same width different offsets. Wheel width is about finding the perfect amount of grip vs turn in.
