help me with my tuner lug spline drive problem

ok r3v i know there are many of you out there with aftermarket wheels requireing the smaller tuner style lugs. i have a set of wheels like this, and am currently running a 57mm stud setup with spline drive tuner lug nuts. i have striped my spline drive socket trying to remove my wheels. ive striped multiple mild steel spline drive sockets as i do not have a quality snap-on set. its quite frustrating as the lugs are torqued with a torque wrench to spec and i cant get them off. at this point i'd rather not spend 250 on a snap-on spline drive socket set just to be able to use these lugs. i am searching for an alternative open ended tuner style lug nut. i've seen a few advertised as fitting tuner style wheels but cant really trust ebay ads and the likes 100%. is there anyone here that has tuner lug nuts that use a regular socket style? i've been in contact with ryan at motorsportsharware and he has no such offering or i would go that route. any help would be greatly appreciated, even if its just a lead to a quality spline drive socket besides the dozens of black mild steel offerings that srip and break.

    thanks in advance

i will keep looking into these, but they appear to be aluminum how well do these hold up? aside from blox's titanium line but im not spending a few hundred dollars on lug nuts thats for damn sure

They hold up fine. If I changed my wheels often I would once in a while use a steel lug and spin it down all the threads to make sure they are clean. In the battle of steel vs aluminum the steel always wins, but as long as you don't have messed up threads it will be perfect. Also you save a little rotational weight going aluminum.

I've seen quite a few autocrossers lose wheels due to aluminum lugs. I would NOT recommend them to anyone whom I didn't actively want to see lose a wheel/wreck their car.
