    Solved

I'm looking at the 16x7.5 Borbet a's on tire rack, but really want the lip that the 16x9's have. How much of a lip do the 7.5'' have compared to the 9''?

Also, I can't find a place to buy the 9'' wheels new, and I'd really like to run a staggered setup (i know no one who has 4 9'' wheels would sell me just two).

Your best bet is to just go with the 16x9. If you want the 16x9 look, then get the 16x9 wheel. The 7.5 lip is just to small and looks nothing like the 16x9, obviously. Plus if you go with 16x9, just find a genuine set of Borbets. When someone sees you have a genuine set of borbets, you get so much more respects when its the real thing rather than a replica.
As far as the staggered setup goes, you might have to find someone who simply sells the staggered setup, but they wont be genuine borbets. And in my opinion, the difference in lip size is just to much and it looks a little funny, but thats just me.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

I kind of like the staggered lip look...I feel like the lip on the 16x9 in the front looks too intense. Do you have more shots of your car and do you run spacers?

All other borbet a guys PLEASE chime in, I've been in about-to-pull-the-trigger mode for wheels for the past month and need some motivation lol.

If thats what you like, then there is nothing wrong with that. the 9 wheel can look pretty intense, but the 7.5 just isnt intense enough to me.
As far as my setup goes, mine are genuine Borbets 16x9 et15. Im running 4mm spacers in front and 5mm spacers in rear. You mainly need at least 3mm spacers in front to clear the shock for the 9 wheel. Im not sure about spacing for the 7.5 wheels.
My sig is probably the only shots i have of my car. I have a few that i havent editing yet. Ill post them up sometime this week.

Edit: Forgot to add that i had gottem my spacers cause of the difference hub size from the wheel. I have hubcentric spcers that fill in the space between the hub and the wheel bore to properly run the wheels without causing strain to the lug nuts.
