I just picked up a set of BBS RS "style" wheels that measure 17x7.5 et35 4x100 with the universal 73.1 hubcentric centers. My plastic 57.1-73.1 hubcentric rings have been ordered also. I have just finished repainting my 87 325is and didn't roll the fenders before painting. 
Btw, this is just my daily driver for work that I won't be racing ever.
I'm hoping to run the Yokohama 225/35/17 at all 4 corners if possible and want to know what spacers, if any, I need for the front or back to make them fit. I would like to avoid rolling the fenders if possible since I just painted my car and it's stock height right now. Once I get these fitted I will see what kind of space I have to work with, if any, to go about lowering the car. What route do you guys suggest I take (tires, spacers, etc.) since I only have the wheels and rings ordered so far...
