    80's style wheels?

    So, here's my baby:

Anyway, as you can see, the wheels are a bit.. eh..

I think they look fine, but I'd like to have some wheels from a decent brand, you know, one that you can find information on.

Now I have my Kamei side skirts, and Zender valence, both which look very 80's- I'd like to keep with this theme. The tires on there are very nice as well, so I'd like to keep the wheels at that size too: 215/17/45.

I was just wondering if anyone had some recommendations, or additionally a place to buy them. I'd prefer to keep it under $1000 for the set, but might be willing to move up to $1500 if I'm really smitten.

issue with 80s wheels is i dont think your going to be finding meany 17s. that size became popular late 90's if i remember properly. i think if you want period correct wheels your going to have to go 15s or possibly 16s. as they would of carried on the style from the 80s into the 90s but increased the size to 16" eventually.

Well, they don't have to be /from/ the 80's, just look it. You can buy the ESM weaves in 17s, and I believe that Borbet Type A's come in that too.

I'd just like something that looks a bit more fitting. I was looking at KT1s, as well.
