    Powder coat/Proffession paint wheel centers?

I know PC is the way to go, but is it better to go with painting for cost vs durability? How long would a good paint last?

I just went through this and chose to professionally paint. Came out looking amazing and only cost 1/3 of powdercoating.

did you get clear coat? How long ago was it done and how is the finish now? Any chips? I am only have the centers done on my gotti j55b's, so I don't think they will get rock chips on them

They will. Every part of your wheels is susceptible to rock chips. I will ALWAYS recommend powdercoating over painting for wheels, and even more so with powder clear over the top. They will be nearly indestructible for normal road use. Paint might have been cheaper for dude up top, but it will never last as long or be as durable as powdercoat.

How much do wheel centers' size of powdercoat generally go for? My dad's friend has a powder coater, So I am sure I can get some sort of discount.
